In 2012, as Heave the Sun, I made an album called "Empyreal Obtenebration". Ever since, I've thought about doing new versions of the songs on that album (and did one of "Feeding the Demiurge" before); this album has only one semi-remake of a song from that album, but it's the title track so I figured I'd also name this after it.

This album was supposed to be longer and cooler (and some parts are rough/sloppy even by my standards), but well, things turned out how they turned out because I wanted to stick to my schedule of "one album per year". It could still end up getting improved/expanded in 2023, or better versions of a couple of the songs might be included as extras on singles or something... not sure yet.
