This song is influenced by Salvador Dalí's painting "Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening" and the film "The Colour of Pomegranates", as well as that infamous Tumblr post of someone getting upset at seeing pomegranates thinking they're gore. The track art pic is edited from the painting "Girl with a Pomegranate" by William Adolphe Bouguereau and a stock photo of a pomegranate, of course.

Pretty sure this is my first song with lyrics in Spanish? Well, at least it's the first one with lyrics ENTIRELY in Spanish, even if I might have done something with Spanish lines before but can't remember right now. As for what the lyrics are actually about, to be honest it's all up to you to interpret them if you can make them out. I'm not that big on the imporance of lyrics, it's more about what sounds good than what it means. Sure, there's some meaning to them, but it's not like they contain any deep personal philosophy or anything...

There's some subtle microtonal stuff going on with the synths, but I doubt it's even that noticeable. Subtle microtones felt fitting considering it's some kind of psychedelic rock and a kind of "abstract" song in terms of lyrics and the things it was influenced by are fairly surrealist stuff. It does have black metal influences, that comes most naturally to me and I like mixing it with different genres so there are some screams and I guess the lo-fi sound is black metal-esque. Overall, though, it's psychedelic noise rock or something?
